On the evening of 22nd April 2006, I was granted access to The Piano Room at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, the aim – to document what was at that time a body of music written for solo piano spanning the last ten years of my musical life, from the time of my graduation from Birmingham Conservatoire up to the time of my leaving the UK for the mysterious, magical and utterly unfathomable land of Mongolia. The recordings made on this single evening represent the most complete recorded document to date of my compositional and improvisational style as a solo performer.
