Live recording of Steve Tromans at the 2010 Teignmouth Jazz Festival, UK. Listen closely and you can hear the seagulls on occasion. As part of his preparation for the performance event, Tromans spent the previous night, and the morning before the gig, in communion with the waves on the seafront. This experience was a profound one, and folded into his improvisations on the 21st.
